The second tab 2. Product identification asks for basic information of your ETSOA application.
Please proceed according to the following guidance:
1.) Applicant's Reference*
Please provide a unique internal reference to this application. This reference will be used as an identifier of your application in all communication, e.g. invoice/s, acceptance letter, by EASA. The field length is 40 characters, longer references will be automatically cut and not saved.
2.) Kind of Equipment*
Please identify the kind of product / equipment for which ETSOA application is made by activating the appropriate radio button.
3.) Product Identification*
Please identify the Type/model (restricted to 30 characters), Description, Part number(s) and select the Equipment category.
Type/model: Please enter the type / model name as it should appear on the ETSOA certificate. The field is restricted to 30 characters.
Description: Please enter the type / model description.
Part number: Please enter the part number by typing it into the field. Then press “Add part number”, and the number will appear in the field below the entry field.
Please kindly note that thus you can enter several part numbers if necessary.
By marking a number and press the button “Delete selected part number” you can delete a part number again.
Equipment Category: Please select the ID of the equipment category. As the selection table currently does not present the Equipment Sub-Category, please find below the full table of Equipment Categories.
